On this, the First National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, Hustle + Heart wants to make an impact.

With the purchase of a team merch item, a donation to The Woodland Cultural Centre, Save the Evidence campaign, will be made.

The Woodland Cultural Centre is located in Brantford, ON and is on the site of the former Mohawk Institute Residential School, one of the only residential schools left standing in Canada. The Mohawk Institute Indian Residential School is a physical reminder of the legacy of assimilation imposed upon Indigenous children in Canada.

What is the Save The Evidence Campaign?
Save the Evidence is a campaign to raise awareness and support for the restoration of the former Mohawk Institute Residential School, and to develop the building into an Interpreted Historic Site and Educational Resource. As a site of conscience, the final goal is to create a fully-realized Interpretive Centre that will be the definitive destination for information about the history of Residential Schools in Canada, the experiences of Survivors of the schools, and the impact that the Residential School system has had on our communities.

With the purchase of each t-shirt, $10 will be donated to the centre.

With the purchase of each toiletry bag, $5 will be donated to the centre.
